Pyridoindole Derivative as Electron Transporting Host Material for Efficient Deep-blue Phosphorescent Organic Light-emitting Diodes
An electron-transporting host material suitable for deep-blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes has been developed. The material exhibits electron-transport characteristics, high triplet energy, and high thermal stability. It is designed by integrating electron-transporting pyridoindole substituents into a bulky adamantane core (see figure), and is demonstrated to be an excellent host for deep-blue phosphorescent dopant emitters.
