Performance of CuO-CeO2 Catalysts with Low Copper Content in CO Preferential Oxidation Reaction
CuO/CeO2 catalysts were applied on PROX-CO reaction. The lower copper content favors the dispersion of CuO particles, the reduction of CuO and the CO adsorption was facilitated, favoring the Mars-van Krevelen's reaction mechanism. These characteristics increased the catalyst activity especially at low temperature and H2O/CO2 in the feed stream.
