Direct observation of ligand-centered redox in CP*Rh-2(2)(mu-C2S4)Cl-x (x=2, 0)
For the first time, the structural chemistry of a M2C2S4 core has been elucidated in two oxidation states: two-electron reduction of Cp-2*Rh-2(mu-C2S4)Cl-2 (r(S2C-CS2) = 1.45 Angstrom) produces Cp-2*Rh-2(mu-C2S4) (r(S2C-CS2) = 1.34 Angstrom).
