Aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition of Cd[((SPPr2)-Pr-i)(2)N](2) leads to the growth of cadmium sulfide and/or phosphide thin films on glass. Decomposition of the precursor has been studied by pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and modeled by density functional theory.
