Humid Air Diffusion with Water-Vapor Condensation in Porous-Media
This paper is devoted to the experimental and numerical investigations of the non-isothermal moisture diffusion with condensation in homogeneous isotropic non deformable capillary porous bodies. From the comparisons between experimental and numerical results it was possible : to justify, at least in part, the use of the Philip de Vries mathematical model as a predictive tool; to identify the reasons of failure of some simplified theoretical model in describing moisture diffusion with condensation and finally to analyze accurately the role and the relative importance of the different heat and mass transfer mechanisms involved in the diffusion-condensation process.
