Vertically aligned and penetrated carbon nanotube/polymer film with nanotube ends opened and located on both faces and with controlled thickness from the nanometer to the millimeter range has been developed through an easy solution process. The composite film exhibits remarkable mechanical, electronic, and sensing properties.
