Dispersing Behavior of Non-Modified and Functionalized Carbon Nanotubes
Applications with carbon nanotubes require often their dispersion in anorganic or organic fluids. Functionalization is a chemical method to modify particle surfaces with covalent bonded functional groups. The modification aims the improvement of the incorporation of carbon nanotubes in surrounding matrices for the development of innovative composite materials. This work embodies the investigation of the dispersing behavior of different functionalized in comparison with non-modified carbon nanotubes.
