In the development of a new chemical process time to market must be minimized particular with regard to the dynamic change of chemical industry. In this article advantages of miniplant technique are introduced in terms of an efficient process development. Several chemical processes based on homogeneous catalyzed reactions are presented, which were successfully transferred into continuous miniplant scale.
