CeO2 Hollow Nanospheres as Anode Material for Lithium Ion Batteries
CeO2 hollow nanospheres were synthesized using polymeric micelle poly(styrene-block-acrylic acid-block-ethylene oxide) with core shell corona architecture. The CeO2 hollow nanospheres were investigated as anode materials for rechargeable lithium ion batteries for the first time. The nanostructured electrode shows desirable electrochemical properties such as high capacity, good capacity retention, and rate performance.
