Results on the effect in magnetic and structural properties of hydrogen in Ce(Fe1-xAlx)(2) samples, dissolved up to the terminal solid solubility, are presented. A comparison of our data with previously reported studies on the magnetic properties of the system under pressure allow us to determine that hydrogen affects magnetic properties of this system further than structural effects. In addition, magnetic and structural preliminary results on the hydride phase of this system are presented.
