The results of optimization of a series of types of heat exchangers with fixed tube-sheets are presented. The initial oversized series of types includes 176 elements. The optimum series of types consists of only 12 heat exchangers; both manufacturers and buyers of the apparatuses should significantly benefit from the implementation of the optimum series of types.
