The quantitative risk assessment method proposed by Wilson [1] is described and evaluated. It was applied to the results obtained by several environmental experts working on a case study: The Tanit Case. Environmental Workshop for the Chemical Processing Industry [2], with the aim of assessing the reliability of the method. The results obtained showed that the procedure is quick, easy to use and gives levels of risk in a short time. It also enables risk scores to be transformed into economic parameters.
