In this article GKN Sintered Metals Filters GmbH, reports on a comparison study between a standard sintered metal filter cartridge and its latest metal membrane filter that has an asymmetric wall configuration. The asymmetric design is said to prevent a high pressure drop during operation, and thereby improve the cleaning efficiency of the filter back flush.
