The influence of anionic surfactant sodium dodecylsulphate on hydrodynamics and mass transfer in packed extraction column has been investigated. It has been concluded that addition of a surface active agent to a system changes the bulk dispersed flow for the drop flow. The increase of surfactant concentration results in the increase of extraction efficiency.
