Gas-liquid dispersion in agitated vessels with multiplied impellers
There is discussed the hydrodynamics of gas-liquid systems dispersion in the agitated vessels with multiplied impellers and also with its coexisting energetic inputs. Various combinations of impellers and the impact of their construction and distribution on liquid circulation and on the gas dispersion have been considered. The necessary conditions for complete system dispersion, dimensions of the produced gas bubbles and gas hold-up have been described.
