New production line at Hungarian pharmaceutical plant to use GMP centrifuges
Gedeon Richter, one of Hungary's-leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, has taken delivery o f four new GMP centrifuges from, Thomas Broadbent at its production `facility in Dorog; Hungary,.where they will be- used: to manufacture steroids, contraceptives and other drugs: The. three bottom discharge vertical centrifuges and one horizontal peeler system will de-liquor active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) on the company's new chemical synthesis production line at Dorog. All the centrifuges come in 316L stainless steel construction materials and can handle a maximum slurry density of 1250 kg/m(3). The new line is due to open in June 2004.
