Strict water quality regulations led engineers at a liquid natural gas (LNG) terminal in the UK to call upon Siltbuster Ltd to de-silt over 400,000 m(3) of surface water using a specialist water treatment system. The amount of clean water discharged back into the natural environment turned out to be equivalent to nearly 150 Olympic-size swimming pools.
