Two-Dimensional (2D) materials have been receiving great attention in electronics, catalysis, and sensing techniques due to their high conductivity, mechanical strength, and optical properties. In previous studies, many types of research have been reported to improve the physical and chemical properties of 2D materials. One of these studies is to create heterogeneous structures of 2D materials by incorporation metal nanoparticles For example, it was reported that the gas sensing performance of MoO3 is drastically enhanced by incorporating Au NPs on 2D MoO3. Therefore, we expected that the photocatalytic performance can be increased through the synergy effect of 2D-MoO3 and Au NPs. In this research, we studied the degradation of Lignin using the 2D-MoO3@Au NPs heterostructures. The 2D- MoO3@Au NPs heterostructures were characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometer, XRD, and TEM. The reaction progress of lignin degradation was monitored using UV-Vis spectrophotometer, TLC, and HPLC. |
