제목 The Polymerization of Acrylates By Using New Type Nickel(Ⅱ) Catalyst
초록 Recently developed α-diimine ligand catalyst in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) have been found to be the effective catalytic systems for the polymerization of acrylates.
It is an interesting result in that the nickel cationic active centers are less oxophilic than those of group 4 metal.
We designed new type α-diimine nickel(∥) catalysts which show high activity for the polymerization of various acrylates and investigated how the steric effect of ligands, and polymerization conditions influences the yield, stereoregularity, and thermal properties of the polyacrylates.
Based on the results we tried to clarify the polymerizaiton mechanism and to explain the oxophilicity of the cationic active sites.
