Various sunscreen agents have been used to protect the skin from sunlight. Sunscreen agents are divided into physical and chemical blockers. if the molecular weight of sunscreen agent is small, it penetrates the skin and absorbed into the human body and causes various side effects. In order to prevent side effects of the sunscreen, we designed a sunscreen with increased molecular weight. The new sunscreen was synthesized with a polymer to increase the molecular weight. In this study, we compared the UV absorption efficacy of conventional sunscreen with our sunscreen. Also, confocal laser scanning microscopy and franz diffusion cell were used to compare the skin permeability. In addition, to confirm the presence of sunscreen penetrated in the body, sunscreens were applied to the skin of rats and blood was collected at each time point to check the concentration of the sunscreen using HPLC. |
