Highly Stabilized Silver Polymer Electrolyte Membranes for Facilitated Olefin Transport |
초록 |
We have synthesized PEP as a polymer matrix to dissolve silver salt and applied to the polymer electrolyte membranes transporting olefin molecules preferentially across the membrane. Strong coordinative interaction between the silver ions and the carbonyl groups in PEP is confirmed by the large carbonyl peak shift to a lower wavenumber in FT-IR spectra upon the silver incorporation. Consequently, PEP serves to prevent the deactivation of the carrier, i.e. the reduction of silver ions to silver nanoparticle, resulting in highly stabilized separation performance in polymer electrolyte membranes. |
