제목 Basic studies concerning TPP coated DES : Cytostatic effect of TPP on VSMCs, establishing coating condition
초록 The drug-eluting stent implantation is a widely acceptable treatment for coronary heart disease. It was reported that iron chelator had anti-proliferative effect on human vascular smooth muscle cells (HA-VSMCs). In this study, tetraphenylporphine(TPP) was used to evaluate anti-proliferative effect on the cultivation of HA-VSMCs by MTT assay method. TPP and polycorprolactone(PCL) were coated onto stainless steel plate(ss-plate) using a spray-coating method. Surface morphologies of the TPP/PCL-coated plate were examined by AFM and SEM. HA-VSMCs proliferation was inhibited by the addition of TPP. TPP and PCL film coated by spray method was tightly adhered to the surface of ss-plate. TPP was released from ss-plate during two weeks. TPP as iron chelator can be used as drug for stent coating because of its anti-proliferative effect and sustain release profile.
