제목 다이캐스팅용 마그네슘합금인 AM60B의 유동 특성 개선을 위한  Sn첨가에 관한 연구
초록 Magnesium is the lightest of all metals in practical use, and has a density(1.74g/cm3) of about 2/3 that of aluminum and 1/4 that of iron. Today, magnesium(Mg) alloys are recognized alternatives to iron and aluminum to reduce the weight of structural materials.

In this paper, structural magnesium die-casting material that is applied to the material used AM60B, and to improve the mechanical properties and flow properties have designed a new alloy composition. The addition of Tin is formed by the new enhanced phase to compensate for reduced relative strength and flow in original AM60B magnesium alloy. Tensile and hardness tests were compared with the mechanical properties of alloys.

Furthermore, we understand microstructure and fracture plane through scanning electron microscope and optical microscope. Test results, compared with the original AM60B, the optimal alloy composition is expected to AM60B + Sn1.0wt% to improve the tensile properties and flow properties.
