제목 Block-Copolymer Directed Mesoporous Li4Ti5O12 anode with carbon coating layer induced for High Performance Li-ion battery
초록 Spinel lithium titanate as a superior anode material for lithium ion battery has attracted considerable attention because of the excellent Li-ion insertion and extraction reversibility. However, the high-rate performance for this material should be required to be used in large scale application such as electric vehicles. For high power densities, mesoporous materials is promising because they could offer rapid ionic and electronic diffusion by increase the interface between the electrode and the electrolyte and decrease the pathways of solid-state diffusion of Li+ ions. Mesoporous Li4Ti5O12 /C composite were synthesized via a simple block copolymer assembly with inorganic precursors followed by heat treatment to 700oC. Mesoporous spinel Li4Ti5O12/C composite had a wormhole-like structure with an average pore size of 16 nm. In electrochemical performance, the mesoporous Li4Ti5O12/C composite exhibited higher rate capability and excellent reversibility compared with bulk Li4Ti5O12.
