In this study, Polyketone solutions were made by a metal salt solvent (Calcium chloride , Lithium chloride, Zinc chloride). This solutions and 4-vinylbenzyl chloride solutions were irradiated by Co60 γ-ray radiation. Then the anion exchange membranes were synthesized by Trimethylamine solutions completely. Degree of grafting was increased with increasing the total dose and 4-vinylbenzyl chloride (VBC). The ion exchange capacity of Polyketone-g-vinylbenzyl chloride (PoK-g-VBC) was measured by increasing VBC mole ratio. Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy was measured to elucidate the molecular structure. The water uptake (W.U), ion exchange capacity (IEC) and electrical resistance (E.R) of the membrane were measured using a weight method, titration, and LCR meter, respectively. In addition, the membrane will use in the membrane capacitive deionization process(MCDI) and compare to CDI(capacitive deionization) for comparison of the salt removal rate. |
