제목 A Photonic-Plasmonic Hybrid Platform with Spherical micro-cavity for Enhancement of Upconversion and Downshifting Luminescence
초록  Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM), which appears on the surface of a spherical cavity, is known to increase the absorption of incident light. We designed a structure that can use the overall solar spectrum by converting from near-infrared and ultraviolet to visible light and fabricated a photonic platform based on silica microspheres via micro-imprint lithography. In addition, the plasmonic effect from the disordered-silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) enhanced upconversion luminescence (UCL) with WGM-photonic effect. Compared to the UCL intensity observed in a glass reference substrate, the proposed platform exhibits two-ordered enhancement.
