Synthesis of Novel Molecular Explosive-embedded Binder System using 1,2,3-Triazole "Click Reaction” |

We performed synthesis project for making prepolymer which has high-energetic molecular explosive group with polyol type of low molecular weight. Triazole embedded polyetherdiol were synthesized by copper(I)-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition that called “Click Chemistry”. This click reaction has very mild reaction conditions and insensitive to water and oxygen. The triazoles have high heat of formation (1H-1,2,3,-triazole : 273KJ/mol) and triazole-based salts are used as energetic materials. It was carried out using cupper(II) sulfate pentahydrate (Cu(II)SO45H2O) / sodium ascrobate system as catalyst. The poly(GAP-co-THF) were converted easily with alkyne in high yield >98% in the presence of TEA base and polar aprotic solvent to give the high viscous new 1,2,3-triazole-embedded energetic polyetherdiol without any noticed change of difunctionality. |
