제목 Production of Ortho-hydroxydaidzein Using Recombinant S. avermitilis Cytochrome P450
초록 Hydroxydaidzein shows significantly stronger antioxidative activities than those of daidzein. P450s have the ability of converting daidzein to hydroxydaidzein, 3΄-hydroxy, 6-hydroxy, and 8-hydroxydaidzein. We compared the various strains for the biosynthesis of dihydroxydaidzeins. Among strains examined, Streptomyces avermitilis MA4680 highly transformed daidzein to ortho-specific dihydroxyisoflavones. We investigated recombinant streptomyces avermitilis strain found to have 3.6 times higher ability than wild type to convert 3΄-hydroxydaidzein. The reaction conversion was maximized through fermentation. Fermentation result showed 4.4 fold increases in daidzein conversion activity compare to WT S. avermitilis.
