Structural characteristics of metal-boron (M-B) catalyst on/into porous nickel foam support and the influence of heat treatment on the generation of hydrogen from sodium borohydride (NaBH4) solution were reported. Analyzing morphological and structural observations such as SEM, XRD, XPS, BET, PSD, TG/DSC, FT-IR and ICP, amorphous M-B structure prepared by simple dipping reduction method was maintained. We compared the activity and the stability of M-B (M = Ni, Co, etc.) in the generation of hydrogen from NaBH4 solution. |
