PMMA encapsulated silver nanopartilces with peculiar morphology were fabricated by the two step preocedure. In the first step, silver nanoparticles were fabricated by the chemical reduction method with stabilizer. In the dispersion polymerization step, silver nanoparticles were dispersed in the water, and then radical initiator were attached to the surface of silver nanoparticles. Monomer was polymerized at the surface of silver-stabilizer-initiator. Silver nanoparticles were encapsulated with PMMA and simultaneously arrayed in peculiar morphology such as very long and thin fiber. |
