Synergy effect of Cu introduction into SnO2 sorbents for COS removal |
초록 |
Recently, interest of IGFC technology, which has higher power generation efficiency than IGCC and has little emission of pollutant gas, is increasing. IGFC is a technology that gasifies coal at high temperature and high pressure to produce syngas and uses it as fuel for fuel cell. However, syngas from coal gasification has polluting gases and impurities that have a fatal impact on the fuel cell. Among them, COS must be removed to the level of ppb because it is one of the main substances that inhibit the electrode activity of the fuel cell or the catalytic activity. Therefore, in this study, SnO2 with excellent reactivity with sulfur was used as a catalyst, and Cu was added to maximize COS removal performance. The characteristics of the synthetic catalysts were analyzed by XRD, BET, and SEM. The COS removal experiment using the catalyst was carried out in the temperature range of 300 ~ 400 ℃ in the fixed-bed reactor. |
