제목 | The 3-demensional porous coating of TiO2 nanoparticles on silica using sol-gel method |
초록 | Surface property is crucial for various industrial applications. Among various surface coating methods including physical vapor deposition (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and so forth, sol-gel method has various advantages such as feasibility on mild condition and porous geometry. In this study, we used frustules composed of amorphous 3-dimensional porous silica produced by diatoms. We analyzed physicochemical properties for bindings TiO2 and silica using various analytical methods including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). We expect the prepared coating can be applicable in wide range of industrial fields such as solar cell, battery electrode, electroluminescent display devices, wastewater treatment, protein drug immobilization for targeting micro-carrier for drug delivery, and biosensors for antibody arrays. |
