Plasma Etched Luminescence Ceramic Phosphor Plate for Laser Diode Based White Light Generation |
초록 |
Laser diode (LD) have significant interests as next-generation light source owing to their remarkable characteristics such as environmental-friendly device, low energy-consumption and high brightness, compared to conventional light source. However, the directional light of LDs has an effect on ununiformed light distribution related to waveguide effect. Here, we report our advanced research using the nano-structured garnet-based luminescence ceramic converter combined with blue LD for white light generation. For light distribution, we optimized the surface fracture through plasma etching system. It is alternative that plasma etching can improve the luminous properties, which luminescence ceramic converter takes the place of the conventional one. |
