Among many 2D materials, graphene has been in the spotlight with eminent surface energy, electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties. The fabrication of graphene into the film is necessary to fully utilize the properties of graphene, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is one of the typical deposition methods. The CVD allows the control of thickness and lateral size of graphene with high quality. However, it demands sophisticated equipment with a high production cost. A printing process can be an alternative to manufacture high-quality graphene film, but acquiring a graphene ink that satisfies key printing parameters such as the viscosity and surface tension upon printing type is a challenge. In this study, we provide a straightforward graphene ink recipe for various printing methods including inkjet printing, dispenser coating, and slot die coating. Such a facile ink formulation protocol would enable graphene to be used in vast applications such as electrode, sensor, battery, and superconductor, etc. |
