제목 New Poly(ortho-phenylazonaphthol)s Exhibiting Tautomerism for Selective Fluoride Anion Sensing and Chromogenic Patterning on Flexible Nanofiber Substrate
초록 A new series of tautomerizable chromogenic polymers with azo group were synthesized for applications including the optical sensing for anion and chromogenic patterning on flexible nanofiber substrate. We performed colorimetric anion sensing based on the binding of anion analytes with hydrogen donor group in polymer backbone resulting in naked-eye color change. Consequently, new polymers showed selective sensing for fluoride anion. Furthermore, we illustrated the novel chromogenic patterning properties on a nanofiber substrate using tautomerism through chemical variation. In other words, color tuning could be attained due to the chemical change from hydroxyazo form to azohydrazone form using protection and deprotection of t-Boc groups. The nanofiber web was made by electrospinning with new polymers and PMMA blend. The nanofiber substrate with free hydroxyl groups resulted from removal of t-Boc group exhibited considerable red-shift in UV absorption compared to protected polymers.
