제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Substitutents on Poly(p-phenylenevinylene) Derivatives for Light-Emitting Diodes
초록 Poly[2-{2',3'-bis-(3'',7''-dimethyl-octyloxy)phenoxy}-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (2,3-BDMOP-PPV), poly[2-{3',4'-bis-(3'',7''-dimethyl-octyloxy)phenoxy}-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (3,4-BDMOP-PPV), poly[2-{3',5'-bis-(3'',7''-dimethyl-octyloxy)phenoxy}-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (3,5-BDMOP-PPV) were synthesized by the Gilch polymerization, and their electro-optical properties were characterized. The color tuning of this polymer by changing the bulky substitutent at the 2,3-, 3,4-, and 3,5- position in the phenoxy side group along to the PPV backbone will be discussed.
