제목 Tuning of the Physical Properties of Block Copoly(ether ester) Thermoplastic Elastomer
초록 Poly(butylene terephthalate)-poly(tetramethylene oxide) (PBT-PTMO) copoly(ether-ester) containing novel diols was successfully synthesized by varying composition of novle diols. Hard PBT and flexible PTMO segments were synthesized from dimethyl terephthalate, 1,4-butanediol and PTMO (Mn = 1000 g/mol) and diols in a two stage process including transesterification and polycondensation in a melt stage. We can tune property of elastomer by controlling the composition of novel diols. Synthesized polymers were analyzed by spectroscopies, thermal analysis, and mechanical test.
