제목 Surface functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes by radiation grafting technique for the immobilization of biomolecules
초록 In this study, the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was functionalized by radiation grafting of acrylic acid and then biomolecules were covalently immobilized on the functionalized MWCNT surface. The results of the TGA and Raman spectroscopy showed that the acrylic acid was effectively graft-polymerized on the MWCNT. Biomoelcules such as DNAs and proteins were successfully immobilized on the poly(acrylic acid)-grafted MWCNT by using EDC/NHS coupling chemistry.
