The research of thermoplastic-based composite has been intensifying to replace metal in transportation equipment industries (dron taxi, automobile, aircraft, and so on). The manufacturing of carbon fiber (CF) reinforced thermoplastic composite was optimized by using CF-thermoplastic fiber comingled yarn. However, this material exhibited poor dimension stability that was a serious problem to apply to structural parts. In this research, the new manufacturing process was suggested that was more stable to dimension variation and more simplified. Furthermore, thermoplastic material was suggested to optimize interfacial and mechanical properties of CF/thermoplastic composite. The recycling efficiency of CF/thermoplastic composite was evaluated using various tests.
