In this study, nanosized manganese oxide particles were successfully synthesized by coprecipitation method using manganese nitrate and ammonium hydroxide as starting materials. Also, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, tert-butanol, and ammonium oxalate monohydrate were used as a surfactant, a cosurfactant, and a chelating agent, respectively. The effects of these organic additives on the formation and the crystallinity of manganese oxide nanoparticles were investigated with the variations of their concentrations. The synthesized particles were characterized by XRD and FE-SEM. |
