제목 | Concise synthetic process for bio-based adipic acid from galactose |
초록 | In order to break through depletion of petroleum source and environmental problem, we have devised the green chemical conversion of C6 sugar, galactose in to value-added platform chemical, adipic acid. We already have reported the synthetic process of adipic acid via rhenium catalyzed deoxydehydration (DODH) reaction. However, because of acidity of rhenium catalyst, desired product was obtained as its ester formation which is required additional hydrolysis process using strong acid. In order to simplify the reaction process, here in we wish to present synthetic route which directly convert to adipic acid. Moreover, new isolation and purification methods process have also been invented which is appropriate for revised intermediate. |
