Multi layers consisted of silicon oxide and carbon based films were applied to Organic Light Emitting Devices as thin film passivation. Inorganic/organic multi stacks was formed using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition successively after manufacturing OLEDs without breaking vacuum. In this research, plasma induced effects on OLED device’s optical and electrical properties were tested. In addition, the comparison of device properties between glass encapsulated OLED and thin film passivated OLEDs were investigated with prolonged time in operation condition and in a thermo-hygrostat (35°C, 60% humidity condition). |
