제목 Photo-functional electro-optic polyimide with excellent high temperature stability
초록 In this work, a soluble polyimide was prepared from a photo reactive diamine and phenolic group containing diamine, and electro-optic property was given by introducing an electro-optic chromophore(disperse red 1) into the phenol group of the polyimide. After poling at 1MV/cm at 210℃, the UV light of 280-310 nm was irradiated to form a photo-crosslinking network. The electro-optic coefficient of the polyimide-introduced EO device measured at 1.3 μm was 27.7 pm/V, which was maintained at 90% or more even after annealing at 150℃ for 500 hours. That is, the thermal and chemical stability of the EO element were remarkably improved by the photo-crosslinking reaction
