제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Polyethyleneoxide-Polypyrrole Co-polymer Soluble in Organic Solvent
초록 Organic conducting polymers, such as polypyrrole, polyaniline and polythiophene etc., have been studied very intensively as active materials for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). The properties, as high conductivity and flexibility, of these organic conducting polymers make them more attractive than inorganic semiconductors for applications. However, these was not soluble in general solvents due to bond strength was strong as conjugated bond.
In this study, polypyrrole as conducting polymer and soluble polyenthylene oxide in organic solvent polyethyleneoxide-polypyrrole(PEO-PPy) co-polymer was synthesized and dissolved in organic solvents(chloroform, dichloromethane and tetrahydrofuran). But conductivity of PEO-PPy was very low as 10-11 S/cm-1.
