Development of anion exchange membranes and their application to electrodialysis for removing nitrate in groundwater |
| 초록 |
Electro-dialysis can be cost-effectively applied to removing of low concentration (~1000ppm) of various ions including nitrate in groundwater and brackish water. For this, composite-type anion exchange membranes were prepared by changing the ratio of vinylbenzylchloride, divinylbenzene and α,α-azobis(isobutyronitrile) in a commercial fabric support. The membranes prepared were evaluated in terms of ion exchange capacity, electric resistance and water content of the resulting membranes. These membranes were applied to electro-dialysis process for the removal of various ions including nitrate for groundwater. |
