Micropatterning of DNAs on the surface of a polymer film functionalized by ion beam-induced graft polymerization for the fabrication of flexible biodevices |
초록 |
In this study, the surface of a flexible polymer substrate was selectively functionalized by an ion beam-induced grafting of acrylic acid. The resulting functionalized substrate was used for the immobilization of probe DNAs, followed by hybridization with Red fluorescence-labeled complimentary DNAs. Well-defined micropatterns of DNAs were obtained, and the fluorescence intensity of the micropatterns was clearly dependent on the concentration of complementary DNAs. This result revealed that flexible biodevices such as biosensors and biochips can be fabricated by using this technology. |
