Synthesis and Characterization of Polypyrrolidone and its copolymers |
| 초록 |
At the meeting synthesis and characterization of polypyrrolidone and its copolymers will be discussed. The polymerization of 2-pyrolliodone (C4) to polypyrrolidone (Nylon 4) and its copolymerization with lactams such as 2-piperidone (C5), e-carpolactam (C6) and 12-Aminododecanolactam (C12) were performed by anionic ring-opening polymerization technique. The effects of experimental variables on the polymerization were investigated. The investigated variables were monomer to catalyst ratio, kinds of activator, reaction time, and reaction temperature. Molecular weight information, measured by intrinsic viscosity and thermal characterization data of both nylon 4 and its copolymers will be provided. |
