In order to improve the cycle stability characteristics of the silicon-based anode material of the lithium ion battery, SiO2 is used as an anode material. However, SiO2 has low electric conductivity as an insulator material. Thus, which is composited with graphite foam (GFm) powders having a high electric conductivity and pore structure using pitch as a binder by heat treatment. As the each of SiO2 and GFm powders has a developed porosity characteristics, the composite exhibits developed macroporous structural characteristic and presents high specific surface area of 2.517-4.557 m2/g and high porosity of 51.65-58.86%. The discharge capacity of C-SiO2/GFm composite indicates the 242.65 mAh/g and which are higher about 4 times than that of carbon-coated C-SiO2. Also, the discharge capacity of the obtained composite remains 85.98% after 30th cycle. |
