제목 Comparison of 4-Arm Star and Linear Polymeric Dispersants for CuPc Dispersion
초록 In order to compare dispersibility of copper phthalocyanine using polymeric dispersants, block copolymers with DMAEMA ((2-dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate (PEGMA) were synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). In particular, well-defined 4-arm star polymeric dispersants and linear polymeric dispersant were synthesized to compare the structure of polymeric dispersants. Furthermore, for study on the dispersion effect of copper phthalocyanine with monomer composition of polymeric dispersant, we synthesized polymeric dispersants which have various degree of polymerization of PEGMA as a stabilizing group. The resulted polymeric dispersants were characterized by GPC and 1H NMR. We studied dispersibility and dispersion stability by TEM and turbiscan.
