Electromechanical properties of SEBS/CNT Nanocomposite Dielectric Elastomer |

Physical and electromechanical properties of poly (styrene-b-ethylbutylene-b-styrene) (SEBS)/ carbon nanotube (CNT) nanocomposite dielectric elastomer films have been investigated by UTM, Impedence Analyzer, SAXS and Laser sensors. SEBS was plasticized with paraffin oil (T150). Compliant carbon paste electrodes were coated on both sides of the nanocomposite films. Electromechanical displacements of dielectric elastomers were significantly affected by concentration of CNT and paraffin oil plasticizer as well. Especially, electromechanical deformation of the nanocomposite film was enhanced in the presence of CNT conductive filler. In this presentation, we will discuss what is a main contribution factor for electromechanical properties of the nanocomposite dielectric elastomers. |
